(2017-18)
After finishing my degree, I was suddenly deposited into the Real World. The following year was full of newfound freedom in my work, but also a growing anxiety of how to keep the flame alive. Released from the intensity of student deadlines, I had the space to explore new techniques and new subjects, experimenting with textiles and woodworking. Fish, speed cameras, magic wands, and a fictional scout troupe were all part of my journey in the year after graduating, which ended with My New Shoes Saved My Life.
