(2019-21)
In 2025 I restarted my weekly newsletter, Will Dalton on Thursday, with a wider scope and a larger audience than before.
The format is simple: every Thursday, I send out a two-page A4 document. The pages may contain writing, words and stories, and may also contain photos, drawings and prints. Each issue is a chance to create a world. Sometimes the newsletters are based on what happened to me that week - like No.72, inspired by a delayed flight in Paris. And sometimes they touch on recurring themes and subjects: cars and transport, jobs, dreams.
The newsletter has transformed each Thursday-to-Thursday week into a self-contained studio where I can test ideas and new ways of working. On Thursday, I send out the newsletter, and the project is finished. The next day, a new project starts, and I have the chance to do something completely different.
